Ford Towing Capacity By the Numbers

SUVs

• The Ford Escape is able to tow 1,500 pounds standard and up to 3,500 pounds with the Class II Trailer Tow Package using the 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine
• The Ford Edge can tow between 1,500 pounds and 3,500 pounds when you use the Class II Trailer Tow package, depending on the engine you choose
• On the Ford Flex, drivers will find up to 4,500 pounds of towing when the vehicle is equipped with the Class III Trailer Tow Package
• The Ford Explorer is able to tow up to 5,000 pounds with its EcoBoost® V6 and the Class II Trailer Tow Package while most are capable of standard 2,000 pounds towing
• The Ford Expedition is capable of towing up to 9,300 pounds with the Class IV Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package, while it can tow a standard 6,000 pounds

Ford Trucks

• With the Ford F-150, there are multiple towing options based on the wheelbase, cab size, and drivetrain. The range is between 5,000 pounds standard all the way up to 12,000 pounds with the Max Trailer Tow Package
• The Ford Super Duty lineup with the F-250 and F-350 available also have different configurations based on engine size and truck size. It gives you a range of 13,000 pounds to 18,000 pounds with different models and Trailer Tow Packages
