Performance
The 2022 Ford Ranger retains last year's Ranger engine, which is a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-4 that makes 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. This brawny turbocharged engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission while offering up either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. If you're looking to boost off-road capability, the Ranger makes a Tremor package available. The Tremor package adds underbody protection, Fox shock absorbers, a trailer tow package, six spare switches for winches, and simulated suede upholstery.
