Ford Chassis Cab in Danbury, CT
The Tough, Capable Truck You Need to get the Job Done
When it's time to show work who the boss is, it's time for you to consider a Ford Chassis Cab from the inventory of new Ford trucks here at Colonial Ford. Built with a high-strength, aluminum alloy body that rides on a rugged, durable high-strength steel frame, the Ford Chassis cab offers the kind of durability that our Newtown, New Milford, Brookfield and Monroe, CT customers demand from their work truck.
Of course, you probably want to learn a bit more about the truck's capabilities. The Chassis Cab features best-in-class payload and towing capacities, and features a gross combined weight rating of 40,000 pounds and a front gross axle weight rating of 7,500 pounds -- both of which are also best-in-class numbers! AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ and trailer sway control come standard on single- and dual-rear-wheel Super Duty models, helping you to maintain control of the vehicle and the trailer you're towing.
Get the muscle you need, with either the 6.2-liter V8 engine that comes in the F-350 Chassis Cab or a 6.8-liter V10 that's featured in the F-450 and F-550 models. Both pair with a Ford TorqShift® SelectShift® 6-speed automatic transmission, and can be equipped with an available power takeoff provision with mobile mode. If you prefer a diesel engine, the available Power Stroke® turbo diesel V8 is the most powerful to ever be offered for a Ford Super Duty Class 3-5 Chassis Cab.
Offered in three cab styles, the Ford Chassis Cab comes with six factory-installed auxiliary upfitter switches to make it easier for you to connect various aftermarket accessories, and there's also an available, factory-installed class-exclusive programmable upfitter interface module that allows a Controller Area Network to control your devices through a laptop or notebook. You can also opt to add a rear view camera prep kit, SYNC® 3 connectivity system, 110V/400W AC power outlet and more features to make your Chassis Cab a mobile office.
Whether you're looking for a Chassis Cab, an F150 , F-250 pickup or F-350 pickup, you'll find a great selection on display at our Danbury showroom. If a new truck doesn't fit within your budget, we also offer a compelling assortment of used Ford trucks.
