The Ford Mustang Mach-E makes four engines and four battery options available along with a choice between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The base Mach-E comes outfitted with a 198-kW AC synchronous electric rear motor that pairs with a 66-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This engine offers up 266 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. There's also an extended range version of the Mach-E, which features a 216-kW AC synchronous electric rear motor that works with an 88 kWh lithium-ion battery pack - this pairing manages 290 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. The Mach-E California Route 1 trim level features the same engine as the above-mentioned extended range Mach-E (317 horsepower), except is solely available in a rear-wheel drive configuration. Slotting in as the most powerful engine is the Mach-E GT variant, which features a front/rear 216-kW AC synchronous motors that manage 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque.
