The Ford Bronco is known for being an accomplished off roader, but it also offers plenty of zip for your daily commute to New Milford. It comes standard with a 300-horsepower four-cylinder engine, but two other engines are available, including a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine making 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque in the Bronco Raptor.

The Jeep® Wrangler's standard V6 engine only produces 285 horsepower. A stronger powertrain is available, but you must pay more to get it. The Toyota 4Runner's four-cylinder base engine delivers just 278 horsepower, while its optional hybrid powertrain generates 326 horses. The Chevy Blazer's standard four-cylinder engine only puts out 228 horsepower, and its V6 upgrade makes 308 horsepower.

Interior

You'll love spending time inside the Ford Bronco, which has a stylish interior with comfortable, well-bolstered seats. Monroe drivers who often bring sports gear or camping equipment on their adventures will appreciate that the Bronco has 77.6 cubic feet of cargo space in four-door models with the rear seats folded. Newtown families appreciate the Bronco's balance of seat comfort and storage room, which includes 35.6 cubic feet of space with the back row upright.

Four-door Jeep® Wrangler models only offer 31.7 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and up to 72.4 cubic feet with them folded. The Toyota 4Runner provides more cargo space than the Bronco, but its utilitarian cabin has a plastic-heavy dash and center console. The Chevy Blazer has plenty of storage room behind its back seats, but only 64.2 cubic feet with the rear row folded.

Technology

The Jeep® Wrangler comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a wired connection. Wi-Fi and streaming services are add-in options for the Wrangler at additional cost. The Toyota 4Runner's standard infotainment touchscreen is just eight inches long and Wi-Fi costs extra. The Chevy Blazer's standard infotainment display is only 10.2 inches long and Wi-Fi is optional.

Exterior Design

Style is subjective, but most would agree that the Ford Bronco is just as rugged-looking or more so than its competitors. The iconic boxy body, large fender flares, flat front end, and round headlights give it a timeless appearance. A removable top and doors allow open-air driving on pleasant days in Danbury, CT. The Bronco's rearview mirrors are mounted to the vehicle body, so they remain in place when the top is removed.

The Jeep Wrangler has similar squared-off looks and a removable top and doors like the Bronco. However, its rearview mirrors are mounted to the doors, so they're unavailable when the doors are off.
