While autumn seems far away, it's a lot closer than it was when the 2017 Ford SVT Raptor debuted last year. Now, we have one more beast in the family of off-road F-150s to look forward to: the four-door Super Crew iteration. Not only is it bigger, but it's also lighter and magnitudes more powerful.
Using the same aluminum technology applied to its beastily cousin, the Raptor will shave 500 lbs off the outgoing model. For motive force, a tried-and-true 3.5 L EcoBoost V6 boasting more power than the previous pickup's V8--411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque. That's no slouch, and sure to add no shortage of thrills of off-road driving.
