Yesterday, Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com names the winners of its "5-Year Cost to Own" awards, and we were proud to learn that Ford vehicles were awarded not one, but four times. The awards recognize the models in each category that carry the lowest cost of ownership after the initial purchase. Factors considered include depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees.
Each Ford vehicle selected for the award saw significant improvements for the new model year. Focus ST took the top spot in the Sporty Compact Car category. The latest generation features the new SYNC 3 operating system with 8-inch touch screen and enhanced voice-recognition. F-150 won in the Full-Size Pickup category. The newest generation introduces segment-first Pro Trailer Backup Assist technology.
Explorer won in the Full-Size SUV category. Equipped with both front and rear cameras, the new Explorer offers segment-first Enhanced Active Park Assist technology. Mustang, the iconic muscle car, won the award in the High-Performance Car category. It continues to set the standard in its segment with enhanced aerodynamics and more aggressive braking.
Here at Colonial Ford, we're happy to be able to offer these outstanding vehicles to our customers. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, come check out what Ford has to offer. Visit us for a test drive, today.
